United Sports

United Sports is a 127,000 square-foot indoor, 60-acre outdoor sports complex located in the heart of Chester County, PA. United Sports was frustrated with the complexity of their outdated Website and they knew that they needed to bring everything current to present day technology. The old site was maintained manually and it was difficult for visitors to navigate the Website. More importantly, the site did not reflect the dynamic organization that they are!
We dug in and started looking at everything including who was coming to the site, who they wanted to come to the site, what visitors were doing when they go to the site and where they were failing on the site. We found that visitors were getting frustrated in navigating the site and they would simply do what they needed and nothing more. We knew that building a simple but usable navigation would make or break this site with its volume of sporting information.
What we built was a site that had a multiple-path navigation allowing visitors to navigate the site in a number of easy, usable paths. In doing our post-launch review, we found that traffic to the site had increased 30%, while the number of pages per visit also increased 150% - a great success for United Sports.
